Accessibility

We want the site to be easy to use for everyone, including with a screen reader, a keyboard or a small phone.

What we did

• Every photo has a text describing it.
• The site works with a keyboard, with a “Skip to content” link at the top.
• Texts have good contrast and scale with browser zoom.
• Animations stop if your device is set to “reduce motion”. The home video has a pause button.
• The site exists in French and English.

Known limits

• The interactive map is harder to use with a keyboard: the mural list and “Directions” links give the same information.
• The after movie has no subtitles yet.
