The story of the mural

Roxane Shade is a young Martinican artist trained at the Campus Caribéen des Arts, working on walls and in sculpture, exploring the human face, connection and shades of colour.

On a white background, faces that are almost masks are linked by a single continuous line: connection and unity. New for her here: sponge-painted gradients in acrylic, with complementary colours side by side to create contrast and rhythm.
